Are the anti-static overalls fabrics the same?

    2019-04-10 10:38:23
Anti-static overalls are often seen in our lives, such as gas station overalls, electric welder overalls, anti-static overalls for special industries, what is the classification of anti-static overalls? High visibility workwear manufacturer

The first one is to select the antistatic agent to pick up the fabric, and after padding and baking, adhere to the surface of the synthetic fiber fabric to make the fabric have a certain antistatic effect. This method is now only used in civilian clothing to defeat the electrostatic phenomenon such as clothes, spark discharge, pollution and ash.

The second is to add an antistatic agent inside the polyester or nylon polymer, such as a surfactant such as a phosphate or a sulfonate or introduce a third monomer to obtain a durable antistatic fiber. Since the antistatic agent of the additive is mostly a surfactant which reacts or differentiates with alkali, it is not necessary to use an alkaline scrubbing agent during fabric picking or washing to prevent the antistatic effect, and the fiber is suitable for the clean clothes. Aseptic clothing can also be used for civilian clothing.

The third type is the incorporation of conductive fibers into general fabrics. Such antistatic fabrics have been widely accepted and recognized because they are not affected by the location environment. The antistatic property of the antistatic fabric and the classification of the conductive fiber and the conductive component (metal, graphite, carbon black, etc.) in the fiber are classified into a conductive component uniform type, a conductive component masking type, and a conductive component composite type. It is mixed with conductive components. Other composite conductive fibers containing conductive components such as carbon black and graphite can be directly used for the weaving of the filaments, and a conductive filament can be embedded at a certain distance (for example, about 1.5 cm) in the warp yarn to obtain a good resistance. The electrostatic effect is the best conductive fiber used to weave antistatic overalls fabrics.
